Dr. Stephen Gonya is a research scientist at Binghamton University inthe Material Science and Engineering department. He is a retired Lockheed Martin Fellow Research Scientist in the Advance Manufacturing Technology group at LM-Owego NY and was responsible for project management, product design, technical research and development. He received a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Binghamton University. Key areas of expertise are advanced electronic packaging including flexible hybrid electronics and direct-write printed electronics. Other areas of expertise include composite antenna radome design, embedded frequency selective surfaces (FSS), anti-tamper 3nclosures/sensors,2.5D-IC chip stack packaging, military electronic system reliability and additive manufacturing methods. Dr. Gonya holds fourteen patents related to his research work.
