Keynote: Pursuing Sustainable Growth

For decades, the semiconductor industry has been lowering emissions and using technology to reduce the climate impact of global manufacturing. With significant challenges such as reaching net zero greenhouse emissions and carbon-neutral computing on the horizon, our industry must keep sustainability innovation and collaboration a top priority.

Well known for its sustainability leadership, Intel’s ambitious sustainability goals include increasing product energy efficiency 10X for their client and server microprocessors, achieving 100% renewable energy use in its global operations by 2030, reaching net-zero Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2040, and collaborating with suppliers to soften their carbon intensity to meaningfully reduce Scope 3 emissions on their path to net zero.
