Mousumi Bhat, PhD

Dr. Mousumi Bhat serves as VP of Sustainability Programs at SEMI, where she leads the SEMI Sustainability Initiative for member companies worldwide. She is passionate about creating sustainable business practices and creating an ecosystem of changemakers to accelerate social, environmental and economic parity by leveraging technological innovations. She has served as a leader in multiple diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs for the semiconductor industry.

She is a semiconductor expert who has held senior positions within the semiconductor industry in Front-end operations, Assembly and Test, Quality and customer and supplier management at corporations such as Micron, GlobalFoundries, Motorola and Texas Instruments. During her career she has lead transversal, cross functional and multicultural teams across Asia, Europe and the U.S.

She holds an Executive MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Ph. D. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
