Dr. Todd Younkin is the President & CEO of SRC, where he leads a ~$100M/yr. global research agenda supported by ~3k academic and industrial researchers, 28 international companies, and 3 U.S. government agencies (DARPA, NSF, and NIST).
That community is using the 2030 Decadal Plan for Semiconductors [1; the “WHAT”] and the NIST MAPT Roadmap [2; the “HOW”] to define and develop hardware that meets the needs of emerging information and communication technologies (ICT).
Todd’s energized by the worldwide call for renewed investments in semiconductor materials, manufacturing, and design, as well as the equally important calls for an emphasis on education and workforce development [3] and our need for environmental sustainability [4].
