Jorge Camez is a senior vice president within Dell’s Global Operations, leading a global organization responsible for ensuring company-wide continuity of supply across Dell’s product lines, particularly focusing on securing leading-edge technology components that are in high demand across a variety of industries and companies.
He joined Dell in October 2000 and has since held executive roles within worldwide procurement in Dell Austin and Singapore, supporting both direct and indirect procurement, gaining deep experience in complex negotiations, supply chain enablement and operations management.
Based in the Austin office, Jorge oversees all end-to-end strategic sourcing activities globally for market commodities, including long-term planning, operations management and execution of commodity strategy, as well as supplier relationship management.
In the earlier part of his career, Jorge worked at Ernst & Young and Lexmark, where he was a member of the Logistics Leadership Program.
He is also an advocate for bringing diverse talent into the organization and mentoring the next generation of leaders as they mature.
Jorge holds an MBA with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Monterrey Institute of Technology. He is also the co-founder of the Singapore-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit business association.
Jorge is fluent in English and Spanish.
