GOglobal Associate
EMD Electronics
Tempe, AZ, United States
My name is Isaiah Morris, a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering graduate from Arizona State University, recipient of the Outstanding Undergraduate in Chemical Engineering Finalist award, and currently serving as a GoGlobal Associate in the Delivery Systems & Services product sector for EMD Electronics. My professional career is in the realm of semiconductor manufacturing and chemical delivery, as I have always wanted to be on the forefront of meaningful scientific discovery and societal advancement. Semiconductors are no longer the future, they are the now, and this is evident in the growing need for defect-free and high performance chips. This passion stems from a 2-year internship completed with EMD Electronics, where I worked within the CMP department developing, testing and qualifying experimental slurries to be used for wafer planarization. This involved using a wide range of analytical technologies alongside statistical methods to identify performance and cost metrics. During my time at ASU, I served as the Co-President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) student chapter, helping promote student awareness and engagement to the scientific landscape we live in by organizing research and learning events with various chemical engineering-related professionals all over the United States. I was also a NSF-PIRE grant recipient, where under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Navrotsky I worked within the PIRE research team to study and develop the next generation of polymer-derived-ceramic materials for high temperature applications.
