Climate Equity Collaborative
Martha Peragine Berger, MPA, is the Director for Children's Health at the Climate Equity Collaborative, which launched in September of 2022 as a public private partnership on global youth engagement in climate change equity defined by work in environmental education and children’s environmental health. The Climate Equity Collaborative aims to nurture youth leaders from marginalized communities with information, ideas for climate adaptation, policy levers, platforms for advocacy, and pathways into environmental and public health careers. Martha served at the US Enviornmental Protection Agency for over 30 years, and at the Office of Children's Health Protection was responsible for climate change and children's health issues, international issues, and engaging with healthcare providers on environmental health.
