Dr. Wei Li is Professor in Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include bio and nano materials processing and manufacturing, biomedical design and manufacturing, clean energy technology, and manufacturing process monitoring and diagnosis. Dr. Li’s research has been supported by NSF, NIH, state agencies, and industries. Dr. Li is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award and the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE). He served as a board director of North American Manufacturing Research Institution of SME, Chair of Biomanufacturing Technical Committee of ASME Manufacturing Engineering Division.
