High Tech U returns to SEMICON West! Ninety students from Self-eSTEM , a non-profit organization that aims to ignite pride, purpose, and possibility among BIPOC girls and women through STEM, will experience the microelectronics industry first-hand. These young women of color will engage in STEM activities, converse with professionals, and learn about sustainability, automation, and more. They will tour the show floor with leaders in the field. The participants are part of Self-eSTEM's Early STEM Immersion Program led by their Executive Director Adamaka Ajaelo. This year-long program sparks student curiosity and confidence in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). High Tech U, in partnership with Climate Equity Collaborative and Sonoma Tech, is proudly supported by TEL, Edwards, and Advantest. All 3 sponsors, along with Athinia, have donated their time to volunteer to make this session successful.
